Ok so I thought I would try this Heritage look a like meter that my friend Darcy has on her blog. I already know that Madelyn looks like her daddy but I thought I would give it a try. To my amazement whether it works for real or not they say it is "even" between the two of us. Yeah!!! You should try it also....

Pumpkin Patch
On Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch at "Stocker Farms" we had a great experience. Besides the fact that I wore my good boots and wasn't thinking about the mud puddles that we would be walking through. At first Madelyn wanted nothing to do with the ground but once she knew that their were mud puddles to jump in she was all for it. Needless to say we couldn't get her to stop stomping in the mud. We had a great time with Grandma and Aunt Laryssa and Uncle Kyle. We found the most perfect pumpkins and madelyn picked her own out this year. Let's just say last year we could pose her however we wanted but this year she was all over the place and wouldn't hold still, all in all we had a great time. Thanks to Madelyn though Chad and I's pants and shoes were covered in mud. Tonight we look forward to carving them. Of course I am not creative so I have to use the tracing book. We are excited. I know Madelyn is looking forward to getting her hands all messy. Oh boy here we come...

We love our Nana
Our trip to Utah went pretty good, well after watching Backyardigans many times and keeping Chad awake we made it. The service was amazing we were fortunate to have 16 members from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing which was wonderful, since my Nana sang in it for 20 years as well as my 2 uncles. After the service we went to the grave site, and than to the Joseph Smith Memorial builing for Dinner it was great. We then took some time and walked around Temple Square which is always a great experience. After a long weekend we stopped in Boise for lunch at my Brother's house and headed home. It was a long and eventfull weekend but definetly worth it.

Its Official!!
This morning we got the best news, Chad was offered a job he will be working at Microsoft under contract through Volt but the position is excellent. His position is "Business Operations Coordinator." The job description is way over my head, so you will need to ask him sorry... He will get the training that he needs though. We are so excited its been a long, long road but our prayers have finally been answered. Thank you to everyone who has been praying and continued to be our support.

"Nana"
So yesterday was bitter sweet because my Grandma on my dad's side passed away. "Nana" is what we all called her was the sweetest, and most amazing person. I will never forget all the memories we shared with her and Grandpa "Bubba" and seeing her year after year singing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Who could forget her love for Coca Cola she never went a day without drinking one. We love her so much and will miss her but knowing that she is with Bubba and in a better place now is comforting. We love you Nana...
