A Backyardigans Adventure

It began Fri night, Grandma,Daddy, Trey, and I went to Bellevue Square to meet the famous Backyardigans. Madelyn being a two year old wasn't quite sure what we meant by "meeting" them. When we arrived at the Nordstrom's I heard this gasp "Hi, Pablo" Madelyn finally meeting her idols since she was about 8 months old. The line was long but thanks to Grandma we made it just in time, she was able to meet Pablo, Tasha, and Austin and take a picture with them. Her face expression was priceless. She also got to take home the new movie and Tasha.

Madelyn meeting her favorites people of all time

Let the show begin...

The next morning we drove to the Paramount with Grandma and the Johnson Family to see the Backyardigans in action. I thought she would love it but not as much as she actually did. Poor Grandma and her legs i'm sure were bruised from Madelyn bouncing up and down through almost the whole show, while singing and dancing. It was hilarious and definetely made the show well worth it. Nothing is better than seeing your daughter having the time of her life. We loveyou Madelyn.

I'm glad Madi had such a good time, what would parents do without the Backyardigans? Dinner would never be made, showers never taken. :)

Or as Hayden would say, "I'm not an Eggbert anymore." We have a couple of Backyardigans fans at our house. :) I heard that they were coming to town. That would have been fun to see. Glad Madelyn had fun.
