Our little girl is growing up

I have so much to blog about but I feel that today was a big day for our girl and needed to be mentioned on the 1st Preschool day.
Last night we prepared her for a fun 3 days a week for 4hrs of Miss Sue's class by laying out her clothes and making sure her backpack and lunch box are ready. When she woke up this morning she was so excited and hardly ate any breakfast which she picked out chocolate doghnuts her favorite. As we were dropping her off she was so excited to see her friends, ran back to hug us both and she was off... Chad and I both teared up knowing that from this time on she will be in school and not home with us.

Already walking away from me :( She was so excited for Preschool

Madelyn and her friend Natalie

She couldn't even wait 5min when coming home to change and eat her cookie that she made

Well we made it, definetely a quiet house today besides Trey asking where "Maama" was. After school we picked her up and for the next few hours we heard all about her fun day mostly about "Hershey" the guinni pig and "criss cross applesauce" which she learned at circle time. We then decided to celebrate with ice cream and to once again here about her amazing day...

Later on we came home for some quiet time which Trey napped as well as Maddie for about an hour and than we had some special time together reading a book and cuddling.

We love this girl so much and are so proud of her

zoo days and summertime fun

We have had a great summer so far thanks to the weather cooperating with us most of the time. I have to admit its been nice having a off and on hott summer due to being pregnant. Here are some of the fun things we have been doing.

Pool time with Ava

The Hawkers home is the place to be, the kids have a great time and we enjoy watching them splish, splash and jump on the trampoline. Thanks Lacey for having us over during these hott days.

This has to be their most favorit part.

We love having our weekly lunch day at the Clegg's. Usually you can find Maddie and Ava in dress up clothes.

Rebecca has a fun lake house on Sammamish Lake that we went to one summer day the kids had a great time hanging out, swimming, and playing in the sand.

"Were going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo how about you!"
Thanks to a friend of mine we were able to purchase this awesome zoo pass for the year. 45.00 and it gets you into both zoo's as well as many around the US. Up to 2 adults and any kids under 18. We have taken advantage of it for sure.
Here we are are the Point Defiance Zoo which is great for kids we had a great time.
