Madelyn's "2" B-day Party "

We decided on a "Fish Theme" since Maddie loves Fishy's and there is so much you can do with Fish. I'm sure the kids and parents felt like they were at a carnival but we all had a great time. The kids decorated their pails and fish bowls, played pin the fish in the bowl, fished for prizes, had lunch and cake, and best of all they took home a real Fish... Thanks mom's and Chad for helping me I couldn't have done it without you.

Catching up!

So I figure since its been a while I would catch up with everything that has been going on. Easter was great this year since Madelyn is older now she enjoyed doing the easter egg hunt atGrandma's house.

We have also been lucky to have a few nice days to enjoy the sunshine outside so we took the kids to the park and played with bubbles and went down the slide over and over again.

Trey turned 3 mos and is continually growing everyday, he even has started teething aghhhh not yet!!! He has brought so much joy into our lives with his cute dimples and laughter we love him so much.

As Madelyn is about to turn 2 which in her case "5" she has started to actually make sense when talking and is non stop moving all day long. She has so much energy its sooo fun to see her grow up and be a great big sister.

Over Conference weekend we visited my parents in Vancouver and went to the "Clackamas Aquatic Park." Madelyn loved every minute especially the "Seal slide" she went down it at least 50 times by herself as we just watched from the side her and Hudson had a great time as well as Chad and I jumping off the diving board and going down the fun slides.

The next day we went to Hudson's "2" b-day party which was a "character theme" so Maddie went as a princess and she actually wore the dress the whole time. Mindie did a great job decorating and having fun things for the kids to take home. She loves her lipgloss thanks Min....

Last week we went to the Aquarium with some friends and had a great time seeing all the neat fish. For the most part Madelyn was good except when she wanted to run all over the place. Other than that we had a fun time.

Friday night Chad and I had a date night we went to the "Seeds of Compassion" concert and heard the Dolli Llama speak and with a surprise guest the Death cab for cutie perform. Best of all we were able to see Dave Matthews perform with Tim Reynolds (guitarist) they were so amazing and he was very personal with everyone since it was a smaller venue than the Gorge.

Last of all we went with Kyle, Laryssa, and Grandma to the Tullip Festival yesterday. The weather was beautiful as well as the tullips. What a beautiful day we had...

We have had a great time with Family and Friends this spring so far...

Lucy's 1st B-day

Last saturday we went to Lucy Lathrop's 1st birthday at the Fire Station in Edgewood, since her dad works there. We had a lot of fun looking at the old fire truck and seeing the lights. Maddie's favorite part was sitting inside the old fire truck. Later we had lunch which Madelyn never stepped away from the chips its was hilarious. The kids also decorated cupcakes as we watched Lucy open her gifts. We had a blast. Happy Birthday Lucy!!!

The Three "C's" and more events

March has been a busy month already Trey and I had the opportunity to go to Boise for my brother's baby blessing. We had a great time with the fam and I was fortunate to spend an extra day with my sister-in-law shopping and going to lunch. We missed Maddie and Daddy very much.

The girls getting ready to see "27 Dresses" which by the way is a cute movie.

Trey was an angel on the plane I worried at first how his ears would be but he ended up sleeping and being happy the entire time both ways whoooo!

Also this month we bought a new car finally "see ya Focus" "Hello Mini Van" We got a Toyota Sienna 2006 and are loving every square inch. It is so nice having a lot of space since it fits 8 people or you can take out 1 or all the seats and can't forget about the DVD player. LOVE IT!

Most importantly we both had our birthdays to celebrate since mine is the 7th and chad's is the 11th. Last friday during the day Charise and I took the girls to the zoo they had a great time but unfortunately Maddie was terrified of Reese's wagon and ended up walking the entire time yeah for me... Later that evening we went with some friends and family to dinner. The plan was "Cheesecake Factory" but when they said it would be a 4hr wait for 18 people forget it. We ended up at Red Robin but had great service and great food. Thank you to those who celebrated with us.

Monday night we clebrated Chad's at Claim Jumper with the Bailey's and his fam. We had a great time watching Maddie dip her crackers in ketchup. I know that is gross but it was great entertainment since our waiter was horrible. Good times!!!

Last but not least we purchased our new addition to the family "A Couch" I know you all must be thinking "these people must have won the lottery or something" but no just a tax return and the three things we have been saving and waiting for couch, car and camera so now we are back to living paycheck to paycheck.

Vancouver Weekend

This last weekend we headed to Vancouver for a variety of celebrations. On sat night we celebrated "Chinese New Year" even though it was a little late. Every year since we have adopted my little brother my mom felt it was important to have a party for Nick since he is Philipeno,Japenese, and caucasion and they celebrate it. We had a great time seeing friends we haven't seen for a while, great food, and carrying on the tradition of wearing "red". Great decorations mom!!!

I also attended a baby shower for my good friend Stephanie. The place was decorated so cute and the games and food were great. Can't wait to meet "Abigail Grace" and see the girls again at our 10 yr this summer.
Sunday after church we relaxed and had a fantastic dinner "Ribs" which is my favorite. We celebrated my birthday early since we all won't be together again until afterwards. My family and Chad's surprised me with a "Cricket" I was so shocked and very surprised more scrapbooking for sure now... Thank you so much

Blowing out my candles...

My Cricket yeah!!!
By the end of Sunday night we were exhausted and headed home but to our surprise we got a flat tire earlier that day so instead of taking 2.5 hours it took almost 4 since we had to drive 55mph the whole way home. What a great weekend...

Trey's blessing day

Feb 3 was such a amazing day for our family. We were able to bless Trey Daniel Hadley with all of our family (minus Adam,Zac,Hudson) and friends there to support him. We feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family there to be apart of such a special day.

One Month

I can't believe our little boy is already one month old. It seems just yesterday we were bringing him home. He is such a blessing and joy to have. Madelyn loves her little brother so much, almost too much sometimes. Poor little guy can't defend himself yet but soon enough.

Recently my good friend Jenn came over and took pictures of the kids. She did such a beautiful job. Thank you

Love the one eye open pose
