Britney's Visit

This last week we were able to meet my brother Adam's "girlfriend" Britney she is from Pennsylvania. From chatting with her on facebook I could tell that we would get along well not to mention that she is beautiful and makes Adam sooooo happy. From the moment she arrived she was friendly with the kids and very outgoing. We took them to Ivars for dinner and the Mariners game which was way fun. On Tues we all went to Snoqualmie Falls which they loved. We had a great time with them and can't wait to see her again in Sept. We love and miss you Britney.

4th of July

4th of July
We had a great time this year with friends/family, We went to the Johnson/Wooley BBQ, later that night at the Bailey's/Simon's for a dinner BBQ, and than watched our guys be kids and set off fireworks. Later that night we went home and did some of our own. I soon found out that Maddie is a "Pyro" (sp) She loves the sparklers and especially the roman candles which she wanted to do herself.

Class of "98"

Getting ready for the "Party"

This last weekend we went to Vancouver for my HS reunion. We started out the night going to a little Italian Restaurant in Portland, and than off to the Red hook Brewery". We had a great time or should I say "I" had a great time. Unfortunately for Chad he didn't know too many people so he was my photographer and by my side through the night. "What a trooper he was." It was so much fun hanging with my girlfriends and catching up with people that I hadn't seen in 10 years.

What a fun reunion see you all in 10 years.

Father's Day
Chad had a great Father's Day this year from being pampered with eggs benedict to watching sports and getting a special present from his little girl. As you can tell by the picture Nana thought she would make it very pretty for daddy but instead she just wanted it for herself.

Let the process begin...

Today I made the final decision that it was time for Madelyn to potty train. After many weeks of her digging in her diaper and pulling out a surprise for me I have had enough. So today when she woke up we put on her Elmo panties and began the process. So far nothing has happened in the toilet but 3 spills on the floor and chair. She loves to sit on the potty but just won't go... She is now down for a nap and in 2 hours we continue on. I am looking for advice and lots of it. So anything will help thanks.....

Little Star

Today when I put Madelyn on the potty she said "mommy song" so I started singing all the different songs we know and she kept saying "no tinkle" and I thought she meant that she still hadn't gone potty but she was wanting me to sing "Twinkle twinkle" I have only sung that one other time before but as I started singing she started doing the actions and singing it herself. We sang it again and this time she sang the whole song by herself it was sooooo cute. These are the times that we need to write down and remember.

Mother's Day!!!

Last weekend my Mother-in-law took Laryssa and I out for a "Mother's Day outing" we went shopping and I found a fun dress and went to the movies and saw "Baby Mama" which was hilarious. We had a great day! Sunday began waking up to my sweet little girl saying "happy Muders Day" as she says I love it. Church was fun and Maddie was so good in Sacrament meeting which is a first maybe its because Grandma was there. After church the "Men" Kyle and Chad made us dinner which was excellent way to go Boys! I got beautiful flowers from my amazing Husband and a darling card from Madelyn. Thanks for a beautiful day!!! Hope you all did as well.

Gym Time

On Saturday Madelyn got ready in her purple and pink leotard for her first gymnastic class, since mom has taken it most of her life why not try it herself. She loved every minute from jumping on the trampoline, doing the obstacle course("no like") as Madelyn says and her favorite jumping into the foam pit. We all had a great time watching her but were not sure who enjoyed it more her or mom and dad we shall see next week. It was hilarious...
